How To Train Your Dragon 3 is the perfect conclusion to the animated dragon trilogy. With strong visual effects, a strong villain, and a fitting end to both Toothless and Hiccup’s story arcs, How To Train Your Dragon 3 is an enjoyable film for both children and their parents alike.

Much of the film is on par with previous installments - the voice acting, visual effects, and musical score all fall into this category. The biggest leap forward is a villain who could be best described as Hiccup's alter ego and what Hiccup could've become had he succeeded in killing Toothless in the first film.

In the end How To Train Your Dragon 3 is a fitting end to the enjoyable animated franchise thanks to a villain/hero dynamic that we can all relate to - even in a world that doesn't have dragons.
