“…Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth have some decent on screen chemistry, but certainly less than that of their MCU outings together…”
“And despite an all-star cast, the performances do not match the talent involved.”
Pokemon Detective Pikachu is enjoyable, entertaining, and humorous even with it’s many faults. We should all strive to evolve and become better versions of ourselves - if only the film had actually had succeeded in hammering that home. Then, maybe, it could’ve been the very best.
Sgt. Stubby seems to stick closer to its historical events more than one might expect from an animated film, grounding the premise with a sense of plausibility and allowing the adults in the room to enjoy the film just as much as their children.
“…Bratcher is complete fire in her role as Abby Johnson and pulls off each emotional facet of the film flawlessly…”
“While some say the movie is fantastic and others say it’s terrible, the truth is its somewhere in the middle…”
In the end, The First Avenger is a strong start to the Captain America franchise thanks to strong casting and a resonating message even if we dont get to knock out Hitler over 200x.
“In the end How To Train Your Dragon 3 is a fitting end to the enjoyable animated franchise thanks to a villain/hero dynamic that we can all relate to - even in a world that doesn't have dragons.”
"He's more human than you'll ever be."
In Bumblebee, Travis Knight opted to flip that script and in doing so provided the best Transformers film to date.
